The album REFLECTING MOONS is a multi-faceted collection of chamber music works from a period of over 40 years. In addition to the three flute trios, there are smaller works for piano, which often deal with the music of past times – entirely in the spirit of my concept of CCC: ‘Cross Culture Composing’, a new musical thinking as a result of the dialogue with inspiring impressions from former contexts of musical speech. I am delighted to have found such exquisite interpreters of international standing with whom I have enjoyed a long friendship. — Enjott Schneider
